Jeet Kune Do

Jeet Kune Do (Jeet Kune Do) is the name Bruce Lee gave his fighting system and philosophy in 1967. It is based on efficiency, directness, and simplicity which educates the student in 4 ranges of combat (kicking, punching, trapping, and grappling). Jeet Kune Do techniques have a reputation for its “Combat Realism” which means that its techniques have been timed tested for its effectiveness in real combat situations.

Jeet Kune Do literally, “Jeet” means to intercept or stop; “Kune” is fist; “Do” is the way, the ultimate reality – the way of the intercepting fist. Jeet Kune Do is the tool used for self examination where one explores all possibilities and means to serve its end. It becomes your personal expression with both Eastern and Western influences. One of the greatest strengths in Jeet Kune Do comes from its diversity and freedom that ultimately leads the student to the highest state of cultivation.
